A Labour Doula empowers the clients by providing continuous information, emotional support and physical comfort. A doula does not offer any medical services and is hired by the client, rather than being contracted by a medical professional.
As your Doula I will not replace your partner, midwife or
doctor! Rather, I will be a valuable addition to the team, providing you with the tool to help you (and partner, if applicable) feel empowered to make the choices with which you feel most comfortable and have the opportunity to have the birth experience you desire.
